Surveys

Surveys are a great way to make a little extra cash or win some prizes. I have listed a bunch of survey companies that I personally belong to. All of them are 100% FREE!! You will NEVER need to pay to join a true survey company or pay for a list of companies!!

Survey companies that are listed on this site are TRUE survey companies. They will not try to sell you anything or get a page of advertisers asking you to click on one for more info. These companies are interested in your opinions! Surveys can be about TV, Movies, personal care items, automobiles, electronics, personal opinions, household items, shopping, businesses, commercials, products, etc...

Demographics - Helps survey companies to narrow down who they are looking to survey and helps with the reporting aspect of the surveys.

Will ask age, sex, race, location, profession, income, # of children, & other demographic info.
Only fill/give out information that you are comfortable with.
Fill out mini survey/profiles on their sites. Will result in more invites to surveys.

Tips

Honesty - you never know what they are looking for so it is best to be truthful.
Complete surveys in one sitting - Most will not allow you to stop midway and pick up later
Avoid rushing - if the company feels like you went through the survey too quickly and possibly did not put any thought into your answers they may not credit/pay.
Product reviews - If offered to review a product make sure it is a product that you would actually use!
Credit - It sometimes can take weeks for credit to show up - Keep track of surveys done to double check you receive accurate credit.
Invites - Most companies will send you an email letting you know that a survey is available but it doesnt hurt to check their websites for surveys also.

Extras

Taxes - Most companies will not require a SS# unless you make over $600 in one calendar year. If you do make over that amount and they request a SS# you will recieve a 1099 and will need to claim on your income taxes.
Paypal - most companies that pay thorugh Paypal will cover the Paypal charge so if you cash out $10.00 you will actually see the full $10.00.

Pros

Cons

Not a guarantee to get many
Some companies do not send invites regularly
Lengthy ones can be boring
